The penultimate destination of the 10th Anniversary celebrations was Dubai, UAE at The Grand Hyatt - Dubai on 9th Jan 2005.

There was an overwhelming response with over 200 guests from the Automotive, Brown & White goods, IT, Banking & Insurance industry. The highlight of the evening was the presence of Mr. Udo Krueger, Chairman of Gulf Warranties & CEO of Arab Insurance Group (ARIG), Bahrain.

Mr. Ajitkumar, General Manager of Gulf Warranties welcomed the gathering. This was followed by an address by Mr. Udo Krueger. In his speech he said "Gulf Warranties provides 'peace of mind'. It comforts tens of thousands of vehicle owners in the Middle East and assures them of an ongoing uninterrupted warranty promise for their cars ".

"Today Gulf Warranties is firmly established in 7 Arab markets, for many years it already occupies the number 1-position as the largest Extended Warranty provider in the Middle East. And it is determined not only to maintain but to further improve this position with a continuation of its expansion strategy. I am convinced that in warranty business size truly matters - it provides customers with the comfort that their warranty partner will still be around when needed - in 3, 5 or 7 years from now ."

Their competence, their dedication and perseverance provides the foundation that will enable all of us to meet again in 5 years from now to celebrate 15 successful years of business."

This was followed by a brief presentation by Mr. David King - Business Development Manager - Gulf Warranties, on the key milestones achieved over a period of 10 years. During the presentation there was also a mention on Gulf Warranties foray into Brown & white goods and the capabilities they have acquired for this business.

Mr. David King - Business Development Manager, Gulf Warranties officially launched the Business Services Division (BSD) which would cater exclusively to the Automotive Industry. As per the plans laid out for the BSD, Gulf Warranties have the alliances & technical know how in place to offer services in the following areas - Consulting, Software Services, Market Research, Process Mapping & Documentation, Training etc.

Mr. Jaideep Singh - Branch Manager - Gulf Warranties proposed sthe vote of thanks.

The evening ended with a ballet performance by a professional troupe and dinner thereafter. The Invitees went back with a stronger sense of commitment to Gulf Warranties and expressed their support for the new initiatives.
